For nearly fifty years since its founding in 1957, the Association of Disciples for Theological Discussion (ADTD) has been a place where Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) members, who are scholars in the various fields of theological and religious studies, have gathered to share their work and to come to know each other. It has been an important arena for theological discussion among and about the Disciples of Christ and for the development of scholarly voices in our church. ADTD consists of group of active and honorary members. ADTD meets once a year over a weekend, usually in October. The annual meeting generally consists of four paper sessions with responses and substantive time for discussion. We consistently enjoy spirited, multi-perspectival conversations about colleagues' work. Our meeting also includes a business
session, evening prayer, and table fellowship of both ordinary and eucharistic kinds. The group is coordinated through Higher Education and Leadership Ministries (HELM).

If you owe back dues, please contact us to reconcile and set up the appropriate amount. Remember, it is important that current and any back dues be paid prior to the time of the annual meeting.
