The following internships are available to undergraduate students through our partners:
The Global Ministries Mission Intern program invites you to challenge yourself in a one to three-year international mission service opportunity. As you offer yourself in service, you will also learn more about yourself, your relationship with God, and your place in God’s world. You will build relationships that will change the way you look at the world. You will be a part of a growing group of young adults who have been transformed by these experiences and will provide you with a new community in return. You will come back from your year in mission equipped to provide a global perspective on issues facing the church in our hurting world today.

Week of Compassion is launching a Summer Immersion program for seminarians (age 21+) currently enrolled in theological institutions and seeking ordination in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Disciples will spend six to eight weeks in the Philippines or in Pakistan, working alongside local faith-based organizations providing disaster relief and humanitarian assistance.

Week of Compassion invites recent college graduates who are 21 years old or older, and current graduate students interested in ecumenical global humanitarian efforts to participate in a summer immersion program for 10-12 weeks in the summer of 2027. Fellows’ service will focus on short-term recovery, rehabilitation, and resilience projects responding to weather-related and human-caused disasters. The program operates in two sites– the Philippines and Pakistan– where participants will work alongside local humanitarian response partners with existing relationships with Week of Compassion. Fellows will go through program and logistical orientation prior to arriving in the country. Week of Compassion will cover flight, accommodation, and other logistical costs, plus a nominal stipend while in-country to cover food and personal needs. Throughout the service period, each fellow will have regular check-ins with Week of Compassion staff. After the program, fellows will be asked to share their experience and learnings with Week of Compassion and the wider church, and participate in a program evaluation. This is a fully accompanied experience, from arrival to return. Week of Compassion will begin receiving applications in September 2026 on a rolling basis with the final deadline of January 31, 2027.
