Korean Studies Program gains ground at Brite
A pilot program to provide a Disciples seminary education to Korean Americans is beginning to take flight. The Korean Studies Program, which brings students to the Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University for their final year of classes, will host its first student this fall. Brite has also shown its commitment to the program by adding the program's director to its permanent faculty.

Tomorrow Starts Now: Young Adult Commission begins its work
The new Young Adults Commission, called together by Disciples Home Missions and supported by HELM, started its work by planning events for this summer's General Assembly before envisioning how the renewed ministry will work.

Two Disciples named to STEP Leadership Team
The STEP Leadership Team, which helps organize ecumenical events for college students and is the primary national ministry for college Disciples, has added two new students. Katie Griffin, a junior at Eastern Kentucky University from Bethany Christian Church in Evansville, Indiana, is an elementary education major. Beau Underwood, a junior at Eureka College from First Christian Church in Princeton, Illinois, is a political science and history major heading to ministry.

Where are they now?
Later this spring, the number of alumni of the Leadership Fellows Program will double to 22. Another way of looking at it is that all of the original Division of Higher Education Leadership Fellows, the first class that gathered in 2001, has graduated. Many are continuing studies toward ministry, others have started careers in their chosen fields Here's a glimpse at what our graduates are doing now.

HELM, 6 Disciples colleges team up to promote Leadership Fellows Program to new students
As a cooperative effort between HELM and six Disciples colleges and universities, nearly 300 high-school seniors have received letters from HELM in the past few weeks informing them of the HELM Leadership Fellows Program.

Three congregations to welcome summer interns
Disciples congregations in Olathe, Kansas, St. Louis, and the nation's capital will host HELM Leadership Fellows during summer internships this year.
