Through Higher Education and Leadership Ministries, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and 14 colleges and universities are related by covenant. These schools receive funding through Disciples Mission Fund and pledge to serve and care for Disciples students and the church.

The 14 institutions serve a combined 23,000 students. A wide variety of settings are available, from large universities in metropolitan settings to smaller colleges in more rural communities. Disciples-related colleges and universities:
