Ann E. Dickerson Scholarships

The Ann E. Dickerson Scholarships are for female members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) working toward the Ph.D. degree in religion studies. Each Dickerson Scholarship recipient will receive $2,000 for her ongoing education. A special Higher Education and Leadership Ministries fund supports Dickerson Scholarship, which remembers former HELM Board member Ann E. Dickerson.

A complete application for the Dickerson Scholarship includes:

  • An application form (PDF)
  • A typed essay of no more than 300 words describing the applicants vocational goals, academic interests and how she envisions being of service to the Church.
  • An official transcript
  • A copy of one of these documents:
    • completed 2008-2009 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form, or
    • completed 2007 Federal Income Tax Federal Return (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ)
All information must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2008.
